Ruby:
we made paper flowers with tissue and newspapers.
we sat and she chatted; she's so full of energy and life, such a dear and funny person,
it's precious time; I savour every moment...
Stella:
she needed a swimming bag for school; it looked simple to do.
we measured and cut; she sewed and ironed and pinned,
she was so careful and did such a beautiful job,
I showed her and she listened; I just love her company and sweet solemn face...
I love having this time to just be with them.
My daughter Bell would love the paper flowers for her room, will show her this post. We may have to have a go at making them. The swimming bag is the prettiest bag I have ever seen. Have a great week! xo
ReplyDeleteLove this Deb. Time goes so fast, doesn't? I read a quote once and have never forgotten it...No time spent with your children is ever wasted. I often remind myself of this when they just want to show me something, or tell me something, or look at me... xx

ReplyDeleteI have 4 children .they are growing so fast :( .
spending time together working on creative projects is just lovely. The swimming bag and paper pompoms both turned out beautifully.
