Just some stuff from Christmas making

There was sewing:

dresses for little girls....

skirts...

shorts...

bags for teachers:

three sets of PJ's for three sisters..matching t-shirts not shown..
(and two mini sets for my girls)

a dress for my mum...

There was making:

reindeer ornaments...

 wrapped in reindeer paper...

Christmas cards...

gift tags with twine and pretty tape...

Clay pieces rolled and cut with cookie cutters; decorated with recycled beads...

printed with nature...

made into hearts...

finished with macrame...

A dreamcatcher (driftwood, twine and beads.. this one didn't make it off my deck; it's a prototype for more, I hope...)

There was baking...so much baking...

mince tarts...

 gingerbread men...

and afghans and shortbread...multiple batches.

There were beanies...lots of beanies. Probably nine or ten; I lost count.
There were baskets of sugar scrubs and homemade goodies.
There was red wine with gluhwein sachets...

Each piece or item made with love;
made for family and friends.

  2. Wow, you made so many things! I think it's so nice that you gave handmade things. I really love the dress at the beginning, can you share the pattern? Happy New Year to you. :)

    1. Hi Jennifer, thanks for your kind words. I had a lot of fun. The dress was kinda made up as I went along. It started as a simple piece, gathered at the top, then I added full sleeves, then I had to cut the sleeves back as the armholes were too small! So I don't really have a pattern, as such...

  3. Oh wow, so many makes! You were busy. I love it all, but especially the pyjamas and shorts - that bobble trim! And the dresses too. You choose such gorgeous fabric, which makes your gifts really stand out. I hope they were all well received and that you had a fab Christmas. x
