  2. Lovely stills, Deborah. It all looks so peaceful. That hunkering time of year is my favorite and I really love that, through blogs, I can watch it unfolding in other parts of the world when it's warming up around here.

  6. Hi Deb . - that bin looks as full as mine! We get fortnightly collections here so I plonk all my allotment weeds in my bin and my dads - bit of a 'Rambo' getting it out of the back of the car though!
Coffee looks cool. Have you tried rhubarb crumble? Nice.

    1. Love rhubarb crumble! I don't grow rhubarb, unfortunately, so I'm waiting to see it in my local produce store.

  7. Can't you ask some keen gardener round your way , to chop off a root for you? It grows easily from a piece of root , just chuck a bucket of water over it and stand back - roots are deep yellow and gynormous.
just planted my brassicas tonight - cauliflowers, sprouts, and , for the first time, cabbage. - all little plants, got them as plug plants off this specialist firm. Planted some lettuce, mizuna, and mustard in the greenhouse. Tomatoes to go in on Sunday. - really warm here today 20C - that's probably winter to you Deb. lol. - pics to follow on my northernbruce blog .
