Stella: skateboarding with the boys. I think she impressed them with her speed, skill and dare-devilment..

Ruby: upside down over a muddy puddle. I can finally see her teeth coming through!

The girls are choosing their photos for my blog this week. I'm still facing major opposition over photo-taking. My solution at the moment is to let them pick which photos I use. They may not be the photos I like most, but there you go. Compromise is important in family life.

  1. I totally agree about compromise. I'm having trouble photographing mine lately too; they won't slow down long enough, for one thing, and when they do, they make such weird facial expressions. They used to be so photogenic, what happened? :)

  3. I actually think it is a good thing they get to say what photos are used and what are not. Once Jarvis gets old enough I will give him this choice as well. Beside they have picked great images.

    1. Thank you! I do like these photos too. And I like that they have some say. I certainly am reluctant to put myself out there publicly so much these days!!
